A MESSAGE FROM Marathon for Lola

Hey everyone! If you haven't seen it yet, checkout my personal fundraising page that I made at this link: https://marathonforlola.weebly.com. This website has more information about the marathon and fundraiser. The website that you're currently on is just the landing page for the actual fundraiser where you can donate! This fundraiser runs through October 2026.
Here are some facts (hopefully some surprising!):
1. I am signed up for the Carmel Marathon on April 18, the initial inspiration for this fundraiser
2. This Team Lynn Sage Fundraiser is an entrance ticket to the Chicago Marathon, on October 12 (yes, I am signed up for two marathons)
3. I will personally match all donations up to $2,620 to celebrate 26.2 cancer-beating miles
Here are my current donation incentives:
One time donations:
o $10 – access to an exclusive newsletter featuring breast cancer information and news, features and shoutouts, training updates, incentive updates, and any other special announcements. Lasts throughout entire fundraiser
o $10 – Access to voting in polls (such as "what do I do for training today?"). Lasts throughout entire fundraiser
Repeatable donations:
o $1 - one pull up or two push ups
o $2 - one 25m lap in a pool
o $5 - I will bake you brownies (if you live near me). If you don't live near me, oh well
o $20 - I will run to a playlist that you create (be creative!) up to 2 hours long
o $15 – I will feature a story that you'd like me to share in my newsletter. This could be anything breast cancer related, whether it is telling someone's story
o $50 - I run a 5k in a giraffe onesie (price will go up in the summer 👀)
o $75 - I run a 5k in a giraffe onesie and singing karaoke (price will go up in the summer 👀)
o I am also taking suggestions during my "presale" , if you know about the fundraiser right now you are a VIP invited to presale. I will take ideas on incentives, raffles, polls. Music ideas allowed, just wasn't sure how interested people would be music related incentives. If I like your idea I may give you special treatment hehe.
Incentives for everyone! Any donations will count towards these!
o After donating a total of $100 - I add your name to the special supporters section in my newsletter (still playing around with ideas, might also be my shirt/bib on race day)
o Every $5 of donation will be 1 entry into a raffle
***IMPORTANT NOTE*** When you submit your donation, please fill out in the notes section which incentive you are donating towards so that I fulfill your incentive. Incentives are not required, but highly encouraged!
